Barack Obama's view:
Barack Obama believes that the United States must strengthen the civil rights enforcement. They plan to stop litmus tests used to determine positions in the Civil Rights Division.
Adding to their plan, an Obama/Biden administration, would pass the Fair Pay Act to make sure that women receive equal pay for equal work, and that the Employment Non-Discrimination Act was passed, in order to forbid the discrimination of a person's sexual orientation, or their gender identity.
Barack Obama also plans to end racial profiling, and make sure that no state in the United States of America, practices it.
John McCain's View:
Although John McCain's official website, gave little to no information on where John McCain stands on the issue of civil rights, I was able to find some information on websites found off of Google. John McCain supports civil rights, but opposes "quotas." His opinions have been consistent with those of George W. Bush, Bob Dole, and George H.W. Bush. McCain's thoughts on the issues tend to be conservative, such as the idea of church-state mixing.

Great job you guys! I love that you gave me some information on civil rights before I read the canidates views!
I was going to do civil rights, but I couldn't find any info on McCain's position on the issue. Where did you get this information?!!!!!!!?!!!!!!
